Mimar is a cute island boutique rooted in the heart of Santanyi on the island Mallorca

Inspired by slow living, ( feminine ) creativity and natural rhythms, Mimar is a space where beauty and everyday ease come together.

Born from a love for small, independent makers, Mimar offers a carefully selected collection of women’s wear, handmade jewelry, slow natural beauty, soulful gifts and sacred objects. Each piece is chosen by me with attention and respect , for the hands that made it, the materials used, and the story it carries.

At Mimar, we celebrate woman supporting woman. Most of the brands and creations you’ll find here are made by women, in small batches, with care and dedication. We believe in quality over quantity, timelessness over trends, and in cherishing the labour of love behind every item.

Mimar is for the woman who values softness and strength, who chooses consciously, and who enjoys surrounding herself , and others, with meaningful things. Whether you are looking for something for yourself or a thoughtful gift for someone you love, each piece is meant to be worn, used and treasured for years to come.

I’m very grateful you found your way here to me.

I was born in the Netherlands and have been living on the island of Mallorca since 2001. What once started as a place far from home has slowly become my true home, shaped by the sea, the beautiful light, the rhythm of island life and the amazing people around me.

I’ve always been drawn to beautiful things, not because they are perfect, but because they feel real. Care, skill, texture, story and intention have guided my taste for as long as I can remember.

Over the years, my love for clothing, jewelry, natural beauty and soulful objects naturally grew into a desire to create a place where all of this could come together.

Already many years ago now, Mimar was born from that feeling, in 2010, when I opened my boutique.

Mimar is, quite simply, the shop I always wished existed here on the isand, and now, after many request "we" are also online

Every piece you find here is carefully chosen by me, slowly and intuitively. I look for items that feel good to wear, to use and to live with. Pieces that blend into your own life, and that can be mixed with what you already have, and that don’t ask to be replaced next season.

Mimar is
a place where small brands and women makers are celebrated, where quality matters more than quantity, and where beauty feels warm, personal and honest.

Mimar is a true one-woman business. I run both the physical store and the online shop myself, with a lot of love and care. Every order is thoughtfully packed by hand and sent from Mallorca. This may sometimes take a little longer than you’re used to at home , but I promise it’s sent with attention, warmth and gratitude, straight from the island to you
